2020 Bowls Calendar Released
The 2020 Bowls Calendar has been released. It differs from the first draft in that it has a couple of changes and some club tournaments added.
Updates include:
• Opening and closing dates for events now included
• Provisional coaching courses included
• Some representative commitments added
• Known Club tournaments added
• Date for CoP/Bowlslink Information session put back a week to 20 January
• Dates for ACT Fours corrected (moved from non-date to 2, 3 & 9 May)
• Minor change to ACT Pairs dates (from 16, 17 & 23 May to 9, 16 & 17 May
• ACT 60+ fours moved as per request (from early May to later in May)
• Christmas Day and Boxing Day dates corrected(!)
Still outstanding or unconfirmed:
• The Pennant dates are tentative only, as it will depend on the number of entries/grade nominations etc we receive.
• Some additional Rep dates and BPL Cup still to be confirmed
Please also note that the BA Nationals dates in October are confirmed but the timing of the disciplines is still to be determined.
Clubs with omissions, additions or changes should send details and we will update the online version of the Calendar if necessary.
