Coaching

Bowls ACT Courses

Bowls ACT supports a national framework of accreditation for coaching. This framework is provided by Bowls Australia and includes a combination of online and face-to-face learning and assessment. A national framework ensures consistency, minimum standards of expertise, and the broad understanding of best practice in coaching.

Pathway for accreditation (new coaches)
Coaches play a huge part in the sustainability of Bowls. Coaches are often the first person a new player meets and therefore should possess the necessary personality, skills and approach to ensure the player is welcomed and learns the appeal of bowls.

Becoming a Bowls Australia accredited coach ensures you have the most up to date information on coaching and how you can use this knowledge to assist your players.
