Sports Connect

Sports CONNECT (Creating Opportunities Nationally through Networks in Education, Classification and Training) is a joint project between the Australian Sports Commision, Bowls Australia and Bowls ACT. 

The project aims to provide Bowls Australia and Bowls ACT with assistance in meeting the needs of persons with a disability within the sport of lawn bowls.

Its two main focus areas are:

• creating athlete pathways for people with a disability; and

• breaking down the barriers within disability and non-disability specific sport structures for people with a disability.
