Juniors Get Together
As most people are aware, the ACT is to host the 2015 Junior National Championships. Our dwindling number of junior members, whilst already recognized as an issue, is particularly worrisome in the year we are hosting this prestigious event.
To that end, Bowls ACT will be supporting a range of recruitment activities over the next few months to identify and gather together, in a “juniors only” environment, as many players under the age of 18 as can be mustered.
The first of these “get –togethers” will be a training session this Friday afternoon at Canberra City Club from 4.00pm to 5.30pm.
We have directly contacted those juniors that we are already aware of – this circular is to request that you also encourage your members (or those even just considering membership) to come along.
