Bowls at Lord Taverners Event
Bowls ACT was represented at the recently held Lord’s Taverners multi sports day for school students with special needs. The event, coordinated by ACTSport and held at Mpowerdome, involved approximately 300 school children with a disability from across the ACT and surrounding areas.
Gayle Young, who assisted at the day for Bowls ACT, said that children enjoyed themselves immensely and some showed real promise!
Other sports present for the special day included Football, Oztag, Basketball, Netball, Cricket, Tennis and Kung Fu Wu Shu.
