ACT takes on the Australian Services Bowlers

The ACT representative team takes on the men and women from the Australian Services Bowls Association (ASBA) this weekend at Weston Creek.  The ACT team, largely unchanged from the side that competed at the Australian Sides Championship in Perth in April, will be put to the test by the disciplined ASBA contingent.  The ASBA team contains 2 top ACT players in Mick Carley and Phil Black, as well a the NT rep player Lucas Baker.  The ASBA team also boasts Anita Jenkins who has nothing to prove having recently defeated Karen Murphy at the recent Australian Open,
Series results:  Game 1 ACT 70 (2 rinks) def ASBA 53 (1 rink),  Game 2 ACT 62 (2 rinks) def ASBA 46 (1 rink), Game 3 ACT 65 (2 rinks) def by ASBA 67 (1 rink).  SERIES Winner ACT
