Bowls ACT Farewells President Kevin
Friends and colleagues fare-welled recently retired Bowls ACT President Kevin Antoine at an extended lunch at his home club, Weston Creek, on Thursday. Stories abounded – some true, some tall! There were laughs and tears (almost) as the years highlights and low lights were remembered. Speeches from Life Member Ron Tuckerman and fellow selector John McDonald were given from the heart and had Kevin speechless for a rare moment! Thanks to all the well wishers and those who sent apologies. Kevin wishes to remind people that he has retired from the Presidency – but not from bowls and he hopes to continue his involvement in the sport in other ways.
