ACT Disability Champs
The ACT team has taken out the coveted State Aggregate trophy at the recently completed Multi-Disability National Bowls Championships. Held at Clearview Bowls Club in Adelaide, the ACT sent two representatives; John Mason from Weston Creek and Matt Barrie from Belconnen. Together with Steven Quinn from SA, the ACT team took the gold medal in the triples by defeating a team from Victoria in the final. In the singles, Matt defeated John in the playoff for bronze. These sensational results meant that the ACT was the best performing ‘state’ at the event. Congratulations Champs!
