EOI Women’s Representative Squads
The ACT Selection committee invites any Bowls ACT affiliated female bowlers to put forward an expression of interest (EOI) in being a member of the Over 60 ACT Squad and/or the Open Squad.
The side to represent Bowls ACT in the Australian Senior Sides to be held October this year in South Australia (Copper Coast) will be selected from the Over 60 Squad. The side to compete in the Australian Sides next year will be selected from the Open Squad. In each case, players will be expected to make a contribution towards the cost of attending the event. Although these costs have not yet been finalized, as an indication, last time the open sides players contributed $500; senior sides players contributed $800.
Squad members will be expected to attend monthly training and selection trials until selections are made and then participate in practice sessions in the lead up to the Major events.
