WC Claims Second Men’s Championship
The Weston Creek duo Todd Trewarne and Mac McLean have notched up their second ACT championship in as many weeks after they defeated City Pair Ian Hueston and Peter White. The Creekers got off to an early start and didn’t ever look like being bested – the final score being 25-9.
Todd and Mac defeated ACT team mates Shane Murton and Hemi Palmer (Belconnen) in the semi’s by a two-shotter – 18-16 whereas Ian and Peter knocked off another ACT rep pair, of Andrew Ashlin and Michael Bielski (WC) 25-17.
Todd and Mac now get to stay an extra day in Merimbula when the National Championships are held in late November!
