Thanks and Appreciation – President
Over the course of the past week, I was elected as President of BACT. I firstly want to thank everyone for all the well wishes, congratulations and offers of support it is greatly appreciated.
I will be taking over from David Pruss who will be the new President of Tuggeranong Vikings Bowls Club. I would like to congratulate him and the club on this appointment. Your tenure as BACT President was a successful one and you should be congratulated for the work and effort you have put in to help bring BACT to the strong and exciting position it is in so thank you.
I also want to take this opportunity to thank Ciaran our outgoing Executive officer and acknowledge the great work he has done for BACT over the last few years. He has certainly been a valuable part of the progress and success we have had. I wish him the best with his new opportunity.
For those that don’t know me I am currently a member of the Canberra Bowling Club and was apart of the successful back-to-back Grade 2 Pennant winning Canberra Bowling Club Cobras side, “Go Cobras”. I am a passionate bowler and thoroughly enjoy this great sport. I am very excited to have been given this opportunity and I look forward to working with the Board and all clubs and members to continue to support and grow this fantastic sport of ours.
