2023 Bowls ACT Midweek Pennant – Nominations Open
Bowls ACT are pleased to open nominations for the 2023 Mid-week Pennant competition. Following the success of the 2022 season Bowls ACT endeavour to offer the competition across three men’s & women’s grades in 2023, dependant on nominations.
The 2023 Mid-Week pennant competition is scheduled to be played over 10 rounds, with winners awarded to the team finishing highest on the table following the completion of the season. No finals will be played. Following feedback from 2022 the women’s competition will be played on Tuesdays and the men’s competition will be played on Wednesdays though clubs are able to adjust the schedule by mutual agreement. After further feedback from the 2023 Weekend Pennant competition the default start time will be 10am, again able to be altered by mutual agreement.
Both Men’s & Women’s competitions will be played as two rinks of fours with points being awarded as follows:
- Rink win – 2 points
- Rink draw – 1 point
- Rink loss – 0 points
- Aggregate win – 4 points
- Aggregate draw – 2 points
- Aggregate loss – 0 points
