More Prize Money & More Events in 2024
Bowls ACT excited to offer more for our winners and more chances to compete in 2024
With the growth of ACT Championships year-on-year, both prize-money totals and entry fees will increase for the 2024 events.
The ACT State Championships will see prize-money doubled from 2023 to $200 per person for event winners and $100pp for runners up, this increased prize money is demonstrative of the increased value of our elite State Championship events and comes with just a $5pp increase in nomination fees, the first increase in over 4 years which will contribute towards the enhanced prize pool and covering rising costs in the sport.
The new ACT Graded Reserve Championships will offer lower entry fees and commensurate prize money to reduce barrier of entry for the participation based competition which will offer more clubs and members a chance to be involved in Bowls ACT events in 2024!
