Bowls ACT Operations Assistant
Greater support for our sport with the new role in office 1.5 days per week
With the support of ACT Sport & Recreation Department Bowls ACT are excited to announce the appointment of Harvey McAlister to the role of Bowls ACT Operations Assistant, based out of the BACT offices in Chifley for 1.5 days per week until December 2024.
The operations assistant role will support members, clubs and the current executive following the development of the NEW Graded Reserve Championships and assisting Bowls ACT to deliver on strategic priorities from the 2022-2025 Strategic Plan & Fit4Future Clubs Program.
Harvey is already well known in the capital region as a player. In 2023 Harvey graduated from junior to open ranks and has been selected as a pathway Jackaroo as well as being a member of the 2023 ACT Fours Champions and winner of the Agent Team Champion of Champion Triples. Harvey will be settling into the role and regular office days will be publicised once he has commenced his university studies, with the role looking to complement his Bachelor of Media (Sports Media) degree.
