Bowls ACT All-Abilities Activations

Bowls ACT are excited to partner with club and ACT Sport & Recreation to deliver programs across 2024

The newly formed Bowls ACT activations committee has partnered with Belconnen Bowling Club to deliver the first of four planned All-Abilities sessions for 2024 as Bowls ACT look to provide greater opportunities for the community to get involved in the sport at all levels.

The first session will run from 10:30am to 12:30pm at Belconnen Bowling Club on Thursday March 28th and offer Bowls coaching and activities for new or experienced players, as well as equipment to assist participants including bowling arms, wheelchair ramps and bowls to suit all strength levels. Specialist coaching will be available from Australian Para-Jackaroo & World Champion James Reynolds.

  • Canberra Bowling Club – Early May (Date TBC)
  • September 1st – (Venue TBA)
  • November 9 or 10 (Venue TBA)
