2024 ACT Indoor Singles Qualifier – Nominations Now Open
Bowls ACT are excited to announce that nominations for the 2024 Indoor Singles Qualifiers are now open!
The Indoor Qualifiers are to be held at Canberra Bowling Club on the 22nd and 23rd of June. The winner of the Mens and Womens event will qualify for the 2024 Australian Indoor Championship at Club Tweed which is to be held on the 12th to the 16th of August.
The format for the event is knockout Set Play with 2 sets of 9 ends and a 3 end tiebreak if required.
Nominations are now open and close at midnight Monday June 17th

Event Format – Indoor Singles
- An open draw will be conducted prior to the event. Maximum two (2) trial ends shall be permitted at the commencement of each game.
- Dead ends do not count – Jack to be re-spotted on the T
- Format is four bowl singles played as 2x Nine End sets, with a Three End tie-break if required.
- Games will be played as knockout
- Eliminated players and/or bye round players may be required to mark
- BA approved club uniform is to be worn
- Competitors may be members of any Bowls ACT club or other State or Territory Association provided you have not already competed elsewhere in this event cycle.
- Winners will be eligible to play at the Australian Indoor Singles Finals at Club Tweed. Bowls Australia will provide accommodation to the winners from the practice day until the player is eliminated.
- The host club is the event controlling body. The controlling body may change the event format if required due to inclement weather.
