Board Statement to Members
To; All Bowls ACT Clubs & Members

Today the Bowls ACT board were informed by Executive Officer, Nick Hind that he will be departing at the end of October to take up a new challenge in the sport. On behalf of the board we wish to thank Nick for his hard work as Executive Officer over the last two years during which time Bowls ACT has demonstrated some outstanding achievements both on and off the green.
Under Nicks leadership we have seen continued growth in participation in Bowls ACT championships and Pennant competition as well as the launch of the Graded Reserve Championships in 2024. Off the green Bowls ACT is a leader in the adoption of BowlsLink with competition delivery and communication through the system showing the way for the sports digital future.
While we are saddened that Nick will be departing, we are appreciative of his efforts and invite all members to join us in wishing him the best for his future endeavours in the sport.
