Champion of Champion Triples – Draws Now Online

Bowls ACT are excited to release the draws for the 2024 Reborn Renovations Champion of Champion triples to be played at Queanbeyan RSL Memorial Bowling Club on the weekend of October 26th and 27th.
All players are to be aware that the Bowls ACT COP sets out order of precedence for events and due to qualified players for this event returning from the Australian Championships there have been some alternations to the usual format to permit those players reasonable allowance to return and compete. The Match Committee has approved this schedule to ensure minimal disruption for players, volunteers and the host venue and to avoid potential future clashes. Players are requested to familiarise themselves with the schedule of matches with one game to be played on Saturday and three games set down for Sunday. To accommodate these fixtures the length of games has been reduced to 21 ends for the duration of the competition.
Event Format
- An open draw will be conducted prior to the event. Maximum two (2) trial ends shall be permitted at the commencement of each game.
- Dead ends do not count – ends to be replayed.
- Format is two bowl triples played over 21 ends.
- Club uniform is to be worn
- Prizes – Badges will be awarded plus $100pp for the winners and $50pp for the runners-up
- The host club is the event controlling body. The controlling body may change the event format if required due to inclement weather.
