2025 ACT Mixed Pairs Championships – Nominations Now Open
Bowls ACT are excited to announce that nominations for the 2025 ACT Mixed Pairs Championships are now open!

The State Mixed Pairs will be held at Queanbeyan RSL Memorial Bowling Club with the Graded Reserve Mixed Pairs being held at Weston Creek Bowling Club on the 28th and 29th of June and the 5th and 6th of July. Both competitions are a knockout, with each winner progressing to the next round.
The ACT State Mixed Pairs is 4 Bowl Pairs across 18 ends. The Graded Reserve Mixed Pairs is 3 Bowls Pairs across 18 ends.
Nominations are now open and close at 3PM on Monday June 16th

Event Format – State Mixed Pairs
- An open draw will be conducted prior to the event. Maximum two (2) trial ends shall be permitted at the commencement of the each game.
- Format is four bowl pairs played over 18 ends. Bowls are to be played 2x2x2x2
- Club uniform is to be worn
- Teams must consist of one male and one female player made up by of members of any Bowls ACT club(s) and can be from one or more clubs.
- Event winners will be eligible to represent ACT at the 2025 Nationals
- Prizes – Badges will be awarded plus $200pp for the winners and $100pp for the runners-up
- Dates of play are June 28/29 and July 5/6
- The host club is the event controlling body. The controlling body may change the event format if required due to inclement weather.
Event Format – Graded Reserve Mixed Pairs
- An open draw will be conducted prior to the event. Maximum two (2) trial ends shall be permitted at the commencement of the each game.
- Format is three bowl pairs played over 18 ends. Bowls are to be played 3×3
- Dead ends do not count – Jack is to be re-spotted on the 2-metre mark.
- Club uniform is to be worn
- Teams must consist of one male and one female player made up by of members of any Bowls ACT club(s) and can be from one or more clubs.
- Prizes – Badges will be awarded plus $100pp for the winners and $50pp for the runners-up
- Dates of play are June 28/29 and July 5/6
- The host club is the event controlling body. The controlling body may change the event format if required due to inclement weather.
