More Queanbeyan Champions
Queanbeyan have another ACT trophy for the cabinet after executive members, Marg Davies and Bette McDonald, took out the 2015 ACT Champion of Club Champion Pairs held this weekend at Yass BC. In a tough game against long time rivals from Canberra, Robyn Moxon and Mina Bannerman, the score was even (18 all) at the 20th end. However, Queanbeyan picked up a two on the last end to win 20-18.The ladies defeated Yowani (forfeit) and Belconnen 30-6 to make the final whereas Canberra had to do battle with City and Weston Creek before meeting Queanbeyan.
