Nominations for the 2020 Women’s Weekend Pennant are now open. Please submit one form per club.
Please refer to Section 3 of the Bowls ACT Conditions of Play (effective 1 January 2018) for information about this competition. (A new CoP will be produced for 2020 but the details will be the same for this matter).  Please note that 'the preferred' format for all grades in this event is a full ‘home and away’ series – followed by a finals series.  However, this will be determined once nominations have been received.  All grades will  play as 2 teams of 4:
The intention is for the first round of this competition to commence on Saturday 1 February 2020, with finals being played on 18-19 April.  Again, this may change depending on numbers of teams.
Please note nominations are to include the number of sides and the preferred grades. Reasons should be provided for these preferences where appropriate.  It is likely that there will be 2 grades.
The makeup of the grades, together with the draw will be advised according to the following criteria:
•	Every club is entitled to enter a side in Grade 1.
•	Sides will be allocated so as to achieve a balance in team numbers between the grades.
•	Sides will be allocated so as to avoid (where possible) allocating two sides from the same club to the same grade.
