Notice of 2024 AGM
As per Clause 12.1 of the Bowls ACT Constitution, notice is hereby given of the 2023 Annual General Meeting to be conducted on 9th April, 2024 in the Athllon Room at Vikings Town Centre, 80 Athllon Drive Greenway ACT. The business of the meeting will include regulatory requirements of the Incorporations Act, other business deemed appropriate by the Bowls ACT Board and any other business of which notice is given in accordance with the Constitution. The 2024 AGM Agenda, nominees, and supporting documentation will be released to the public on March 26th via email and website.
AGM Agenda items
Agenda items and/or Notice of Motions for the AGM are now called. Please ensure agenda items and/or notices of motion with supporting documentation and relevant are received by the Bowls ACT no later than COB on March 25th, 2024 through the Executive Officer (exec@bowlsact.org.au).
Call for Director Positions
As per Clause 16.2 of the Bowls ACT Constitution, 3 vacancies will occur on the Bowls ACT Board at the conclusion of the AGM. Bowls ACT now calls for nominations for Director Positions. Please refer to clause 17 of the Bowls ACT Constitution regarding eligibility and procedure. Nominations must be received on the prescribed nomination form and all applicants must read and understand the Duty Statement prior to submitting their application. Nominations are due by COB March 25th, 2024. Please contact Bowls ACT (exec@bowlsact.org.au) for a nomination form or download by clicking the link below.
Clubs are now asked to notify Bowls ACT the names of their nominees for voting purposes at the AGM, by COB March 25th, 2024 via exec@bowlsact.org.au. Clause 6.6 of the Bowls ACT Constitution outlines the requirements of the Nominee for the purposes of voting at the AGM.
