Young Guns Outgunned
The young players from Yowani, Michael McQueen and Flynn O’Shaughnessy have yet to receive “the key to the house” (aka reached 21 years old!) but they made Weston Creek pair of Bevan Hannan and Mac McLean work hard for their win in the final of the 2015 Men’s Champion of Club Champion Pairs at Belconnen today. In a fantastic games of precision bowls, Weston Creek defeated Yowani in game that had spectators biting their nails! Final score 22-18. Who said bowls was a game for the oldies?
