Introductory Coaching Course

About the Course
This course is for those who may be interested in assisting their clubs in attracting new members or introducing others to the sport of lawn Bowls. Accreditation will require attendance at the course, completion of a worksheet and a short on-green assessment. Participants will also have to read and understand the ‘Coach’s Code of Behaviour’.

Target Audience
The introductory coaching course is aimed at coaches who may:
be introducing the new bowler to the club,
work with groups to teach them the basic concepts of bowls, and
organise social bowls functions at the club, e.g. barefoot bowls, corporate days etc.
The course covers the essentials of what is needed to start bowling and to get new participants to do so as safely and as soon as possible.
Payment
Registration fee is $45.00 includes a copy of the Introduction to Coaching Manual (RRP $20).

Ø When: Sunday 28th August 2016.
Ø Location: Tuggeranong Vikings Lawn Bowls Club.
Ø Time: 9:15am for a 9:30am start; concludes at about 4.30pm.
